About The Journey Home
When I first created The Journey Home, I didn’t fully understand what it meant to me.
I actually struggled to name it. I showed the piece to my wife and asked what she saw. Almost immediately, she said, “The Journey Home.”
The name stayed with me. But the meaning has grown much deeper with time.
There have been seasons in my life when I have felt far from the person I wanted to be. Seasons when I wandered spiritually, carried things quietly, made mistakes, and wondered how I would ever become whole again.
And yet, one of the most consistent experiences of my life has been this: Jesus Christ keeps finding me.
Not once. Again and again.
He has met me in places I am not proud of. He has stayed with me when I felt ashamed of how far I had wandered. He has helped me stand back up when I could not seem to become the person I was trying so hard to be.
Sometimes He has guided me. Sometimes He has waited patiently for me to turn toward Him. And sometimes, looking back, I can only describe what happened as being carried.
That is what this artwork has come to mean to me.
I used to see a shepherd carrying a lost sheep home. Now I see my own story.
The miracle of the Good Shepherd is not simply that He knows where home is. It is that He is willing to come into the wilderness to find us.
I am still on that journey. I still wander. I still need grace more than I would like to admit.
But I know my Savior better now.
And I know this about Him:
He does not grow tired of finding me.
His scarred hands keep reaching for me, lifting me, healing me, and pointing me home.
That is The Journey Home.

If your order is time-sensitive or requires expedited delivery, please contact us before ordering so we can confirm whether we can meet your deadline. Order complexity may affect delivery time, and orders to Hawaii may take 3–4 weeks via USPS.
Returns:
Eligible physical artwork may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging, with proof of purchase. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Original shipping charges, if any, are non-refundable. We do not charge a restocking fee.
All returns must be authorized before shipment. To start a return and receive instructions, email moderngracegallery@gmail.com. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method after the returned item is received and inspected.
Damaged or Defective Artwork:
If artwork arrives damaged or defective, contact us promptly with your order information and clear photos of the artwork and packaging. Once verified, we will replace it with the same artwork, size, frame, and other variant options at no additional charge. Damage and defect claims are handled as replacements rather than standard returns, except where otherwise required by law.
Custom commissions, original artwork, personalized products, special framing orders, and items specifically marked final sale are not eligible for standard returns, except where required by law.
